IAG Multi Functional Coating
IAG is a high performance, 100% solid multifunctional, solvent
free epoxy coating.
This cycloaliphatic amine poxy is a highly chemical and moisture
resistant material, which creates a protective barrier over a
variety of materials and surface conditions.
The highly versatile coating is exceptionally surface tolerant.
The lack of solvents allows the true chemical cure of IAG. This
feature combined with its excellent flow properties eliminates
any curling effect over surfaces where existing coatings or rust
where not completely removed. IAG may be applied over inorganic
zinc primers. IAG is very adherent to foam, lead, asbestos and
may be used as an encapsulant for these materials.
All federal and local regulations must be followed when IAG
is used in this manner.
The uniqueness of IAG as a maintenance coating allows it to
be used in place of more costly multi-coat systems.
IAG's multi functionality provides a very cost effective solution
for the protection of varied surfaces from moisture and corrosive
attack. IAG may be sprayed after proper mixing, using standard
airless equipment.
IAG may also be brushed, rolled or troweled.
It is recommended that surfaces should be prepared according
to applicable SSPC standards whenever possible. Please review
the application guide and material safety data sheets prior to
use.
